The Creation of Dallas Real Estate Ministries Minimize

During a period in the mid 1980's, God moved clearly in my heart to the formation of Dallas Real Estate Ministries (DREM). After twelve months of prayer and numerous meetings with Christians in the real estate industry, twelve men came together for prayer and planning. For the next two years, we met regularly to encourage one another and to seek direction from God.

A group of us spent the next four months in the Word and prayer about the ministry. We then incorporated as a 501(c) 3, formed a board of twelve as God had directed, and planned our first public meeting with a breakfast at the Park City Club. Bob Breunig was our first speaker, with over 100 in attendance.

God has proved Himself faithful, by continuing to raise up the right people for the moment to serve, and to expand the foundation and our vision. Since those foundational days, over 200 men and women have shared their testimonies at these breakfasts and luncheons. In 1994, the platform was expanded to have an annual luncheon, broadening the impact for Christ. These have been attended by over 300 people each year, promoted by Christian hosts, and accented by outstanding local and national speakers. In 1999, there was a felt need to provide luncheons on a quarterly basis to attract those for whom the breakfasts are not convenient. These have been overwhelmingly well received. During this same time period, we also advanced to the internet with a website for enhanced communication with the DREM constituency.  The ministry has expanded into several areas of discipleship, outreach and service.

The distinct message in the mid 1980's from God was to partner with Him as He built a "spiritual house" in the Dallas real estate community according to I Peter 2:5. The Lord has been faithful to His directives.  We invite interested partners to join us in the development!
